March 16, 2016, New York, NY – In observance of the Good Friday holiday in the United States, the Loan Syndications and Trading Association (LSTA) recommends treating Friday, March 25 as a loan market holiday for purposes of calculating delayed compensation under the LSTA standard forms of trade confirmation.

Thursday, January 21, 2016 – New York, NY – At its Annual Meeting in New York today, members of the Loan Syndications and Trading Association elected eight new board members to its 24-member Board of Directors. David Frey of Highbridge was elected as the Association’s Chair.

January 14, 2016, New York, NY – In observance of the Birthday of Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday, the Loan Syndications and Trading Association (LSTA) recommends treating Monday, January 18 as a loan market holiday for purposes of calculating delayed compensation under the LSTA standard forms of trade confirmation.

July 31, 2015, New York, NY—According to the Loan Syndications and Trading Association’s second quarter Secondary Trading Study, 2Q15 secondary trading volumes were down 3.5% to $153 billion. On an annualized basis, 2015 trading activity could total $621 billion, tracking last year’s record pace of $628 billion, which was 21% higher than the market’s previous high water mark established back in 2007.

Thursday, February 26, 2015 New York, NY – At its annual meeting in New York today, members of the Loan Syndications and Trading Association elected five new board members, including two additional members, to its Board of Directors, which was expanded to 24 members from 22. Craig Russ of Eaton Vance will remain as the Association’s Chair. 

February 10, 2015, New York, NY – In observance of the Washington’s Birthday holiday, the Loan Syndications and Trading Association (LSTA) recommends treating Monday, February 16, 2015 as a loan market holiday for purposes of calculating delayed compensation under the LSTA standard forms of trade confirmation.

February 4, 2015, New York, NY— According to the LSTA's 4th Quarter 2014 Secondary Trade Data Study, annual U.S. secondary loan trade volumes reached $628 billion, breaking the $600 billion barrier for the first time in the history of the market. This is 21% higher than the $517 billion seen in 2013. The previous record was $520 billion, set in 2007.
